Input settings
When a new input is created you can change its settings and configure additional settings in the input settings.
General settings
These are the main properties of the input. Some of the properties will vary based on the input type. For example the ingest URL is available only for the Live input.

Name | The name of the input entity as it will be displayed across the platform and in the channel | If the input is included in a channel, the name of the input will be visible to all viewers, so keep it neat and presentable |

Captions URL | The URL of the captions VTT files | Only WebVTT format is supported |
RTMP Address | The ingest URL for live video streaming | Only availabe when the input is a live input type |
Stream Key | The key to use in the streaming app live OBS, when streaming live video | Only availabe when the input is a live input type |
Description | The description of the input is for information and presentation reasons. It will be displayed in public links like a channel or a player | If the input is included in a channel, the description of the input will be visible to all viewers, so keep it neat and presentable |
Poster | The poster image will be used to show a thumbnail of the input across the platform and as a thumbnail if the input is included in the channel | * If the input is an uploaded file the poster image will be generated automatically. * "If the input is a third party source from a video[platform such a YouTube, Videoflow will try to fetch the thumbnail from the third part platform automatically." |
Tags | The tag associated with this input. Tags are used to find or associate the input with a specific segment. For example, you can use Input Selector to populate your channel will all the inputs that have the tag LIVE | Some apps can generate input or assign tags automatically |
Manifest
The manifest section provides a more in-depth information about the streaming source of the input. You can see information about the technical properties of the manifest, but you wont be able to change them. That can be done only at the streaming origin.
